I had never heard of Topsy Turvy planters until we were in Solvang, CA, wine country; in a discount variety shop, of all places. But Peter thought it would be perfect for us, space-challenged city dwellers that we are. So we planted a couple of tomato plants to see if it would work. Well, our tomato plants don't look at all like the photos on the Topsy Turvy website. It looks like we've got some monster spider tomato plant exploding out of our planter. I love how the tomato stems make a U-turn up toward the sunlight. We've got some flowers and budding mini tomatoes. So far, so good!
